    Fitting seat harness

    Can you fit a 4 point (eg sparco) harness with out the straps going through to the back seats??

    legally you have to fit harnesses to a rear mounting point within a specified angle from seating position. so you can't bolt it to c pillar or bolt under the drivers seat.

    i have some 3 point harnesses with detachable rear strap 2 allow access to the rear seats. have a look in the for sale section if interested.

    cpearson is right, its illeagal and dangerous to bolt them below the seat, in an accident ure relying on these to save ure life lol! bolting them to the rear seat belt mounts isnt really that much of a hassle, only 4 someone in the middle seat!!
