    Can't believe I've just done this......

    .....De-badged the rear and used some adhesive remover to take off the sticky residue. Now I've got a patch that looks dull and it doesn't want to T-Cut out. Ran my fingers across the surface and feels less glossy.
    It looks like I've maybe removed the top layer of laquer

    Can you have localised/small areas of the bodywork laquered??

    Iam panicking!!!!!!

    Try giving it a good wash, polish and wax first. Then see how it looks and feels.

    I doubt you've even got a laquer coat on a red car.

    Give it some waxing etc

    Do you think Wax will do the trick, it hasn't disturbed the paint, just dulled down!!!

    Wash it then give it 2 or 3 coats of wax (megs glod class) and it should come back to normal, worked on my mates car but it was blue and not red.

    As above mate really, i debagded mine and left the out line of the lettering...

    jus good wash, polish then cover of wax !!! then will b'reet !!!
