    Xenon HID bulb colours

I have been disapointed with the light output of my HID kit as the 8000K bulbs is very blue, so much so the light is too "natutural" to see it. Therefore I have ordered and fitted some 4700K bulbs. The results have not been tested on the road, but just looking at them is encouraging:

    One of each:

    Both 4700K

Will road test and let you if they live up to their potential.
Tell me what you've done, not what you're going to!

What do ya mean man? how can you be disappointed with xenons? the bluer, the better, The blue ones look more like xenons. IMO mate the 8000k was the nicest on your car - very convincing!

it's not much use looking good if he can't see where he's going though is it.....

if these different ones give him more visibility then they were a wise mod

    8000k look the best.

Maybe should have gone for the 6000k for the best of both worlds?

Jus fitted "5000K" halogen bulbs to my car last night. Pretty useless under street lighting, but on the open road they're fantastic.

I think anything more than 5000 would be far too blue.
