The only way your going to hook up a ipod to your factory radio is via a FM modulator. Don't they do something for the ipod that plugs into the top of it to make it a short range radio transmitter......... itrip?

Yes its the griffin itrip, i have them for my ipods and they are pretty good. I was looking for something more permanent but if it not possible then the itrips will do.

    Cheers for the help..

you could upgrade your HU to something with Aux input. Would improve the sound quality no end, and you could still keep the steering controls depending on what HU you got.

A decent mounting bracket is a must too.

eek, not sure, never really had any experience of Clarion gear. Try searching for clarion i-pod interfaces.
Your easist bet will be the like of Pioneer, Alpine, Kenwood, the more mainstream makes.

I would recommend Pioneer every single time, look the busines, easy to use, sound great etc but it is down to preference I spose.
