    astra VXR air flow meter.

Sorry if this has been covered admin, and if this a repeat, then please delete it.

For all those lucky VXR owners out there, the air flow meter is bigger than the normal Zlet one, hence if you are on the modding train already, and fancy a set of inlet hoses like these.........................

Beware they wont fit readily, due to the fact that the amm on the VXR is a bigger unit. I forgot to look to see whether the outlet of the airbox has also been increased to match, or its still the original 70mm bore, in which case you will need a reducing elbow. the same story will be true for the amm to crosover pipe hose.

    I hope this helps

Thats strange, I have Astra VXR factory rubber hoses on my Zafira from the Air box to AMM, then from the AMM to the cross over pipe. They fit the Z20LET AMM perfectly

As far as I am aware the AMM on the VXR is the same as the ZLET but with a different connector plug.

Cheers Buddy, if the AMM on the VXR is different, maybe it could be a worth while upgrade from a reliability point of view. We all know the ZLET ones are made from Chocolate

I will double check tomorrow, but that will teach me to listen to a Vauxhall salesman.

OK, I admit, I was fed some duff info it seems. I went to another garage to ckeck, and showed an interest in the astra and had a peep under the bonnet of a zafira VXR, and then an Astra, which the salesman very kindly let me have a drive of

As many of you have mentioned, its the same size, but the plug is different, obviously asking a man who sells corsa diesels is not the person to ask , rubbish
