That one at the bottom looks well. £30k. Only another £29995 to go and I can afford it.

    Hmmmm....not yet MatG..........give me time.

The car for £30,000 is over priced IMO. All the Omegas get ignored. lol

The bargain in that lot is the 3,500 mile car, £19,900 for a £48,000 Lotus Carlton is worth every penny.........

I so wish i have this amount of choice by the end of 2007.

    For a Lotus Carlton.

    £15,000 to £20,000 for a good one.

£10,000 to £15,000 for one that needs tarting up

Under £10,000 for a dog. Probably inner sill and inner rear arch, seriously eaten by rust.

The Lotus Omega's are about £4000 less.

In 5 years time....How much will the VXR be worth? (£9,000 ?)

A decent LC will still be worth around £20,000. Not a difficult decision for me.

Plus keeping them on the road is getting easier than it used to be as quite a few companies are now making and stocking bits for them. (A full service kit including turbo seals etc is £111)

(not that i've looked into it, of course )

Stunning cars. Personally I would have one of them over the VXR. I did look into buying one about a year or so ago, but my biggest worry was both part supplies and the fact it would spend half its time in bits as I wouldnt be happy unless it was 100% mint.......I may have one yet though......insurance is pretty reasonable on them as well, which is nice. Always remember seeing one at the Glasgow motorshow and being allowed to sit in it, awesome.
