waterpump and timing belt and tensioners SRI TURBO

Just wanted a little helpfull advice on this issue, recently had complete exahust system and down pipe replaced on my SRI Turbo and also what look likes some other components which are connected to the turbo untit, just been in to Vauxhall for its service and they have told me it needs ,waterpump and timing belt and tensioners plus A seal of some kind on the Turbo, now I agree with what they say as I have checked the seal and the noise from the water pump, they advice me this more than likely stems from poor fitting of these new parts by the gararge before, as the cars only done 28k, and water pumps dont go on average until 80k, and they have never seen a turbo seal go on such a young car, any thoughts?

No its standard spec from the factory, like i said the garage who had it for repair work, fitted new exhaust and down pipe, and some other bits around the turbo.

    Ah, another Silver SRi-T owner!

I had to have a new water pump on mine at 39,000 miles. Luckily it was due a cambelt anyway. The bloke who fitted it said that he had never seen one with as much play in it as mine without it throwing the cambelt and all the damage that causes!
