Quick Question re angel eyes/ bulbs

I'm guessing the factory Vauxhall main beam bulbs with all the plastic around them don't fit in the angel eye's or do I just have to try harder?

Also if I am going to buy some new bulbs for the main beam what one's do I need, H7 like the headlight bulb?

    Thanks

The factory main beams are 9005's so they won't fit - you need to get H7's for both dipped and main.

I'm surpirised you didn't know that

Yep H7s all round, be prepared for the severe lack of light with the angel eyes compared to OE lights. Shame I didn't know you were after these, I have several sets of "ultra bright" H7s lying around, which you could have had since you were in the area today.

My mate was commenting on how good the light is comming from them compared to his peugeot, I do have 80 watt bulbs in though

I am wondering if mine are set up for LHD though as the beam goes ___/ ___/ plus they misted up last night oh and the silvertech indicator bulbs cause what I guess to be the tow bar warning light to come on when indicating Probably have to look at removing that bulb

Geoff you shouldn't be surprised, I know very little

For the record the way my lights were set up above was for left hand drive so I had to spend 30 minutes this evening removing the bumper for the third time to get the headlights out and swap them round

I am still getting the tow bar warning light up when I indicate since I fitted the silver tech bulbs and there's no bulb I can remove to sort it

    How odd

Do you get the tow bar light if you put normal bulbs back in??
