    Seatbelt Retract

    Sticky seatbelt feadback.

Any ideas as my seatbelt wont feed back anymore and already taken some chunks of paint work of the door.

Had it looked at by a mechanic but still the same.
How much will vx charge to fix it

    Cheers

sounds like same problem as i have, passenger seatbelt doesn't coil back up into the door pillar after it has been used, just rattles and bangs around the inside of the car

Normaly its the springs inside that go weak.

    Worse on higher mileage cars.

Yeah, i have to 'coax' my driver's side belt...well coax it quite a bit actually!

Whereas the passenger side slides back easily and properly...so i'm comparing it to that.

    Any help, guys?

move the belt hight adjuster up or down.
Odds are high the little clip inside that locks it has broken. Mine has the same issue.

Had this with mine a couple of years ago. There are two safety interlocks connected by cables back too the reel inside the seat. One is from the seat back latch at the top of the seat, the other is on the hinge where the seat mounts to the floor. Both have to be latched into place otherwise the centre belt locks. Unfortunately I had to replace the entire mechanism on mine (no parts available seperately), they're not cheap. I'd advise trying to get a working one from a scrapper if you can.

Is this in reference to the drivers belt, or the middle belt on the back seat?
    My drivers belt is busted.

    Thanks.
