    Remus centre section?

order'd my remus centre section from lmf today and at the mo i have the magnex twin square backbox on.

if i put the remus pipe on will it have to be welded to that backbox or anything?

just asking because im probably going to change that backbox in the future.
and does anyone know what there postage is like as i hope to get it this side of christmas.

    cheers for your help ppl.

is the magnex twin square backbox just the back box ??
if it is then it will fit on i would say use 2 nuts an bolts an a new gasket to fit the exhaust

As long as they are both flange fitting you'll be OK as they just bolt up. It's worth getting new bolts & springs for the new section as the present ones will probably be rusted to buggery

It would be better to get the flange drilled and tapped to the correct size and not just use any old bolt - the proper bolts have a shoulder on them so that they cannot be overtightened, thus compressing the joint too much, as it still needs some degree of movement.

    From a VX dealer...

    2 x SPRING,CONICAL,CENTRE 90234204
    2 x SCREW,HEX.HD.,M8 X 62,CENTRE 90280056

The exhaust place should be able to suply the gasket but if you want to be sure beforehand ...

    1 x GASKET,45 MM ID.,CENTRE 90448071

and maybe worth getting new rubbers cor the centre section

    4 x RING,DAMPER,EXHAUST PIPE 90466668

and yes it will make it louder as you'll be removing the centre silencer
