tinting rear lights - light removal

is it really necesary to remove the lights for tinting purposes? could you not just tape off the edge of the body and blast away?

wouldnt mind tinting rear and fronts (lightly). thing is, im essentially a very lazy man. Also, due to some previous front end damage (now fixed), one of the fronts wont be as easy to remove as you would imagine. its kinda stuck in place .

For the sake of a 2min job remiving them, you'll get a much better finish.
Fronts will take a bit longer, but still worthwhile.

tinting lights yourself is a very dodgey experience unless you are a pro, i did this on previous cars and most of the time the job was miss matched, illegal and looked poo.

so i treated the coupe to a pre tinted set
