Exclamation Help Needed on Installing ICE, car pc, amp, etc.

Ok, I've built myself a mini pc (140GB HDD,512mb RAM, 1GHz) which I'm going to hide away in the glove box, 2x 8" tft sunvisors, 12" Sony Xplod sub (380Watt RMS), 2x Sony Xplod round speakers with built-in tweeters (40Watt each) and I just bought a 380Watt Sony Xplod amp.

I need some serious help with installing this all, do you think I'll need a professional to install and how much will that cost?

By the way, this how I'd like it setup:

car pc has Windows Media CEntre installed, so I'm using the MC remote to control the playing if movies, songs, etc. The car pc will be connected to the 2 sunvisor screens, it's also got to be connected the speakers some how.

Then the headunit needs to be connected to the amp and the speakers.

Hope you like my idea of the car pc, any input would be much appreciated!!

rite first of all test and check all of the equipment, make sure its working how u want it to. then if u havnt got a copy of haynes manual get one it will show u how to take the car apart and will help u try and figure out were to put the wires. its not that hard a job to do the hardest bit will be threading the wires thru. and as for gettin sound from the car pc to the main speakers c if ur radio has an audio in and do it like that other wise run all the speakers thru amps which connect to the audio out off of the pc sound card, so having a good sound card is a good choice.

    well thats my thoughts,

    hope it helps

take the audio out, split it to dual phono rather than 3.5mm rca and plug it into the amp. re a h/u see my answer below.

to connect to the screens it rather depends on what screens you bought and how they connect. either way you'll need to split the signal between the two of them.

Then the headunit needs to be connected to the amp and the speakers.
better off without a h/u imo with a car pc.... most of the problems with noise in the system that i know of have been solved by taking the pc audio direct to amp. however, you could just route the audio through the aux in of your h/u if you really want an h/u for some reason.
