    Question Standard wiring colours.....

Can anyone tell me the standard colours for, constant positive, switch positive, and ground in my MK4 as I'm still waiting for my manual to arrive, I'm guessing this must've been covered in many threads before but I can't find it anywhere!.

Nice one, now I'll be able to tell if I've been ripped off or got the bargain of the week!
No I won't be cutting anything, got some old adaptors lying around that i can butcher to make some temporary links.

the dash and headunit lights shouldn't be connected mate??

The illumination on the loom could possibly be orange,

But shouldn't have anything to do with the dash lights??
