    Need Route Advice!!!

    Hi everyone.

Going to see Lee Evans on thursday night at wembley and im driving up anyway one of my mates whos going can't leave work till 4 so we'll be leaving the maidstone area about 4.30 ish. The show starts at 8.

Anyway my question is to people who know london well which way would you take to make it in time, i got 4 choices all with there own downsides!!.....

1: M25 round the bottom of london then drop back into wembley (gotta go past heathrow and along the M26)
2: M25 round the top of london and drop down into wembley (gotta go over the Dartford crossing)
3: North circular round london (Dartford crossing again and its closer into london)
4: South circular (Close into london)

So far im thinking of M25 round the bottom of london and keeping my fingers crossed there ain't traffic.

    Cheers for any help!!!

errrr, don't know it well, but what I would do.....

    1. Go round southside of M25 (25-35 mins)
    2. Go southbound 1 junction on M3 (5 mins)
    3. Go north through Bracknell to M4 (10-15mins)
    4. Go eastbound on M4 to junction 8/9 (it one junction)(10 mins)
    5. Go north on A404 to M40 (5-10mins)
    6. Go all the way into Ealing on M40 (10-15 mins)
    7. Go round north circular to Wembley (5-10 mins)

This is a long way round - but probably much quicker as it misses out the Heathrow roadworks. I have used this route to go Maidstone to Reading (step 1-4) in about an hour and a half in rush hour, and have used Reading to Wembley (step 4-7) again in rush hour and took me about 45-60 mins.

Hope this helps - but don't blame me if you get stuck anywhere.

    Have a look at this:

    very long link

at the page where it asks you to confirm locations, choose M40 eastbound North Wycombe - for some reason it defaults to bloody Manchester.
