    Sorry Coo!

    http://driving.timesonline.co.uk/art...901375,00.html

Drivers of red (and white) cars......They are the preferred colours of childless young people with an income of less than £8,000 per year. These people are likely to be smokers, unemployed and unable to hold down a long-term relationship. Experian classifies them as “among the poorest in all senses”.

Drivers of black and silver.....These colours are driven by a disproportionate amount of well educated, well informed top professionals: the sort of people who are hedonistic, self confident and enjoy international travel. Most work in the private sector and earn more than £50,000. They shop at Marks & Spencer and Waitrose and, of course, read The Sunday Times. The report concludes that they have “all the glittering prizes of a contemporary, wealthy, urban life”.

    Some others.....

Yellow...Yellow cars are disproportionately favoured by young families with a good income (dubbed Fledgling Nurseries by the Mosaic system).

Beige and Gold.... Older drivers are most likely to dawdle along in beige or gold cars,

Pink......Recent graduates are disproportionately fond of pink.

Green, Brown & Bronze..... If you live in the countryside the statistics show you are more likely to plump for green, brown or bronze. Or if you are a recent graduate with a young family who lives in the countryside.

The good news for drivers with the wrong colour of car is that, like most fashions, car colour preference changes with time. Far from denoting low income, red cars are tipped to make a comeback over the next five years.

Red was the colour during the late 80s and early 90s before silver became the colour to have.

My red motor sticks out like a sore thumb, but I think it looks really well. Better once I get round to getting the bump strips and sills colour coded.
