    1.9CDTI 150PS Oil?

My Astra's now done over 9k miles and STILL doesn't seem to need oil but I'm going to ignore it and stick some in anyway!
What's the best oil for it?

    Is the Vauxhall stuff okay?
Oil is one thing I don't mind spending a few quid on.

Wasn't going to change the oil (it's still clean), just top it up.
1st service is at 30k miles which still makes me nervous - Seems a hell of a long service interval!

any high performance diesel oil will do for your engine, as danny says all pretty cheap so might aswell change it, certainly wont do any harm.

...but I bought a new car so I don't have to do the "dirty" stuff

Will check it out this weekend and change if I feel it's necessary - The oil really is still pretty clean.
