    clutch question

I noticed today was the car didn't feel like it had any go in it, changed gear foot down and not much happening.

First thought is clutch, what do you reckon... havn't driven a car for many years with a ****ed clutch so not 100%

Do the revs increase faster than the road speed?? If so, that'll be the clutch

It might be worth trying to adjust the cable forst, to take up any slack first (if there be any).

New clutches are a ball ache on a V-grille MK3. Mucho easier an on non-V Grill tho

Mine isn't a v-grille, can be done from underneath thank god, cheers for the help.
But on the school run this afternoon it seemed abit better, I think its something I will keep an eye on and will get one fitted after chrimbo.
Too cold for me to be sodding around outside on, so I 'll get someone else to do the job.

That's lucky for you - Those older clutches were an absolute joy to do.
