    Red face Sat Nav

    Hey All

    I'm a newbie to this site and can honestly say its brill for info! Was just wondering if anyone has any ideas on what Sat Nav to buy? (hopeless with directions!!)

    Expensive HU style...or portable Tom Tom style.

    Tomtom 300,500 or 700?

    Tom tom seems to be very highly recommended?

    i,ve just got the road angel navigator just having a few problems with it mainly cos i can,t be bothered to read the manual.before that i had the navman 520 which i thought was pretty good

    Cause Ic don't use it much I just bought myself a cheap Nokia 6600 off ebay then got car hold and bluetooth GPS reciver with software (Altogether bout £180) does me for then little amount I use it

    Sorted out a veccy intake and modded box and fitted without too much problem.....

    the mio168 is good. got one new off ebay for £170. tomtom 5 cost me £6. Being a PDA i can use it as SAT NAV, movie player or mp3 player etc etc
    good value.

    I sell all types of Sat Nav but use a TomTom Go 300 myself.

    I've had 3x TomTom Go 700's in the past few months but gone back to the cheaper 300 everytime.

    The Bluetooth handsfree on the 500 and 700 works with about 5 phones as it's just pointlessly incompatible with pretty much anything other than a Nokia so if you're gonna get one, buy a 300.

    TomTom's are the easiest to use and are well designed.
