    looking after my Z20LET

i havnt had my coupe long, and i got it with 2500 miles on the clock. This is the first time iv owned such a new engine, and i want to keep in tip-top regardless of cost.
    so just a few questions..
what engine oil does the car leave the factory with?
how often should i change the oil and filter?
what are the best plugs to use?

also anything else i should be aware of, when running a turbo'd engine?

You need to change the oil a more regually than the 20,000 miles it says in the manual. I change my oil and filter every 3-4000 miles. Its good to get some decent plugs in as well. I've got iriduim ones in mine. Oil is the main thing.

Change the filter and oil every 3K, use the uprated oil filter, and use a decent fully synthetic oil.

I use millers motorsport 5w 40 3 ester, its good stuff
Warm the car up properly before you cane it, and cool it down before you turn it off also helps.

i would say drop the oil every 5k as its cheap at £15 inc a filter from vauxhall
plugs the vauxhall 4 prong ones are fine for a std car
let the car heat up b4 you drive it about 2 to 4 mins
an also let it cool down again 2 to 4 mins b4 you turn it off

It will leave the factory with Vauxhalls fully synthetic oil most probably. I have been using vauxhalls 5W-30W fully synthetic. Oil part number as far as the invoice goes
V0093165212, oil filter V0093178952 and the rubber ring for the sump plug was V0090528145.
