    rear speaker removal 3dr

    have read all the posts on the above topic, just wondering if there was any other tips for doin this on an astra g ? any tools or other bits i might need to hand ?

    That was a hell of a job for taken three screews out that hold the speaker in !!! was f*ckin frezzin yest to !

    If I can do it anyone can. I just found it time consuming taking the back seats out and the rear trim then putting it all back together again.

    i class myself as novice, and i have to say the "how 2 guide" that astra sport do http://www.bramcote-ridge.org.uk/HowTo/rearseatcard.pdf - is spot on. very clear and good pictures.

    if u did just wana swop the speaker over for the same type u can prob get away without removin the top half of the rear seat as the top half of the quater panel does bend enough to get an allen key in the torx screw head but if u do this make sure u dont end up with a crease in ur trim !! lol

    another good idea is to take everyting out of your boot, easyer to climb in and out it

    Did you find the same size/shape replacements? I can't find any anywhere - probably not looked properly...
