    Question MOT pass/fail

Before I got my car, I'm fairly sure it had been shunted in the drivers side rear corner....

    Evidence to suggest this:
    1) the boot liner in that corner is all pushed in, and won't pop back against the bodywork.
    2) the paint on the bumper is a slightly different colour, and looks like it is about to start peeling off.
    3) there is a slight scuff on the rear light cluster.
    4) a hairline crack in aforementioned light cluster.

My question is, will any of this cause my MOT to be a fail???

Other than that, if my car runs well and all lights work etc. is there anything else that is likely to cause an MOT failure?? (not paranoid, just can't afford to fix anything before Christmas)

Thanks in advance for your opinions,
    Tim

Only thing I can think of is if the light is letting water in they might get funny over it

if the crack in the light lens emits white light then it can fail.

The crack has not split - you can't see any light through it (has cracked the plastic at an angle, so that although the plastic is 5 mm thick, the crack is 10-15mm thick (if that makes sense).

If the car runs fine, makes no noises that it shouldn't, all lights work (and are adjusted) has new tyres/brakes, and had bearings etc checked then, then I should be ok then?????

    Fingers crossed, thanks guys.

the only thing i can see there is if the scuff/crack is over the reflector as that is a mot failure as the boot should not be too bad as my old mark 3 astra i had i rippled the o/s/r of the boot floor pan and it still passed the test and the tester knew about it.
