    does any one know if saxo vtrs have always had rear brake disks or is it just later models

    Only the VTS have rear disc brakes, as far as Im aware. But your best bet is to sell the saxo and get an astra

    ive got an astra its just my mates got a saxo whats been writ off and some things arent adding up its an s reg but i didnt think early vtr's had rear disks and this one has

    All Saxo VTR's and VTS's have rear disks. The "lookalike" westcoast and furio models dont.

    yeah all VTR's have rear discs from the ones a few of my mates have owned

    MK4 1.8 16V Sport and MK5 CDTi Estate

    the vts an vtr has disc's all round my friend just sold a Vtr that had 4 disc's
    car would fall to bits all the time
    brakes worked ok as it was the same as a bath with wheels on only less well built
    focus tdci nice cars 150bhp+ with the remap

    I had a VTR for a yeasr and a half and it deffo had disks on the rear (this was new in 1998 so a while back).
    VTS has ABS though.
    Ex Golf R32, now mk5 Astra Estate 1.9CDTi (150PS, 232ftlb) Design on fat alloys.

    My mate had a VTS for three years and couldnt fault it

    yeah you could feel it was a little cheap made but it held together and never once broke down

    also with some simple choice mods it made 140bhp which made it a flying machine for the size and weight of the little thing
