    pc help

    My ADSL wireless router has decided to go belly-up, and the last thing I have right now is loads of £ to replace it.

    Anyone know of a good cheap one.

    Criteria
    Needs to run at least 2 wireless items + 2 hard wired
    Broadband modem
    A reasonable range (I've just seen one advertising 250m outside!!)

    let me know.
    why do today what you can...... I'll finish this later

    Never heard a bad thing about linksys products and i have used this Linksys Wireless 4 Port Adsl Gateway for over 6 months with no problems yet at all.
    Very easy to set up, with upto 32 wireless connections and 4 wired.

    After reading reviews on that site they do seem a bit mixed. But i have never experianced any of the problems others listed like connections dropping etc

    Thanks for all the advice and help, I've given the router a rest overnight and turned it off (the fist time in 13 months!!) And this morning it is working correctly.

    Though I think I have convinced my work to supply me a new one, probably from PCWB, now I live about 1/4 a mile away from a friend who could share our connection, the distance is almost all over an uninturupted open field. Any suggestions.
