    Exclamation Urgent help - Removing Kick Panel

    How do you remove the drivers side kick panel. Im trying to fit the total closure kit but can't get this damn panel off, theres only one screw but cant manage to push it far enough back to be able to reemove it....any ideas

    You have to pop the plastic sill panel out of the holes so it gives you enough play to pull the kick panel towards you, then you can remove it. Pain in the A** to do but dont give up.

    If you can't make any porfress on this by just jiggling it around.

    I removed mine by removing the bonnet release, but that was alot harder to refit afterwards.

    how did you pop the sill out of the holes cos i can't manage to push it far enough back to be able to do so? plus the bonnet release gets pull to the side a bit, dont want to feck that up. Its starting to get on my nerves now!

    ONce youve removed the screw then pull it towards the centre console and towards the pedals and some juigging about and it will eventually come out.

    All the wires for this can be found in the passenger kickpanel anyway which is alot easier to remove

    When i've taken the drivers on off like Keif I remove the bonnet release

    Will it work if i fit it on that side then? I'm gonna have another go tomorrow.

    Seeing as your a total novice then maybe your better going for the way the instruction tell you to go.

    Briefly though one wire will pulse live when you press the remote button and one wire will go to earth when you turn and hold the key in the drivers door ( that will be the red/yellow or yelllow/red if your have the instruction I think you have)
