Alarm going off after 1 - 2 mins of locking

    HI

Ive read a few posts after searching but just want to clear a few things up.

Sent my alarm last night and after 2 mins the alarm was going off, thought nothing of it (unlocked - relocked) and it stopped.

This morning locked my car for work and about 2 mins later the alarm is going off again

Ive read that it could be the powersounder but I just want to make sure.

The alarm is using the HORN and SIREN.

Is it just a case of buying a new one making sure the ignition is on (ie all lights on the dash but not the engine on) and pulling it out and replacing with a new one.

    Cheers

    Rob
