    autoglym extra gloss protection

Right ive used autoglym body shampoo and the super resin polish on my astra since i bought it in feb this year. Just bought the extra gloss protection. On reading the instructions it says to leave for at least 30mins , do you have to leave it on that long and is it best to do a couple of panels at a time or can you do a full side before taking it off? Any tips on using the extra gloss protection would be appreciated .

Apparently AutoGlym say one hour is better. Make sure you put this stuff on really thin, otherwise it is a pig to remove. Also, best applied 24hours after doing Super Resin Polish.

An extra pair of hands helps a lot, I've always found it harder to remove. I've never left it on for long because I don't trust the weather, unless it's a baking hot day.

Yeah i thought an hour would be a long time as polish is bad enough to remove when left a while. Might try doing a panel at a time

They do, cause i asked. Amazing results too.

Doing one panel and waiting an hour then doing another panel etc will take all day.

    Do the car in Thirds.

    Offside
    Nearside
    Bonnet/roof/tailgate.

    Much easier

Or if you feel brave do the lot in one go.

So when applying the extra gloss protection do you just wipe it on (as if u were leathering the car off) and then buff off like removing polish.
