    New engine

    Im looking to fit a new engine to my mk4 astra its a 1.6 16valve ecotec thinking about a c20let unless anyone can think of anything bigger and better or just something totally different cheers

    rover v8 with twin superchargers!!!! might need some minor mount/bulkhead work to get it in tho
    seriusly tho, c20let sounds like a good choice to me! will be a bit of a shock to the system tho..... double the horsepower!
    Fitted options: Folding mirrors, cruise control, dual tone horn, remap.

    this all depends on budget...... I personally would be tempted with putting in a 1.9 CDTi 150 - remapped to 190

    Hopefully there will be a big budget so something stupid might be called for got the car nearly finished just need some power now

    Also there is a Z18XE engine in Paisley Autopart in the industrial Est near to St' James paying fields. I use then quite a lot. Not sure what state its in as they removed it forma crash damaged car

    See last months Total Vauxhall. My (old) car is in there with a C20LET.

    Likely to be even harder for you as you have a small block engine as opposed to the preffered big block engine to start with.
