    Spokeless Alloys!

Has anyone seen these new alloys, there’s no spokes, pretty good for showing off your disk brakes Don’t know if I’d feel all that safe going over speed bumps though!

hmmm wierd one, looks like there is a disc of perspex in there, unless its some sort of photoshop effort.

good for a show car theme, doesn't give the car a very tough appearance tho, you would just think its some sort of electric car

Yeah apparently its industrial strength Perspex, don’t know about you but I wouldn’t trust a bit of plastic holding my car off the ground!
I think the effect is wicked, defiantly for a show car though!
It would be a bitch to clean, you would need to take the wheel off to get the brake dust off, I’d be worried about plastic melting when the brake disks were hot, I guess this wouldn’t happen if it’s a certain type of plastic, but a couple of scuffs from stones or whatever and the effect would be lost.

You trust rubber & air to hold your car off the ground... why not trust perspex?

So long as it's been tested etc...

True, it’s just getting used to new things I guess! It’s a big leap forward in the alloy industry I reckon! They could come up with some really unusual designs using Perspex’s

Doesnt perspex scratch easily. And what a pain of having to clean your wheels fully inside and out to look good after its rained - or winter salt.

Besides those gripes - they do look good.
why do today what you can...... I'll finish this later

Yea. Isn't the strongest plastic just as strong as most metals?

Planes are made out of fibreglass and shizle... You trust them lol.
