Unhappy Lowering 40mm - Should i have gone for 60/40??

Just bought some Pi spring that will drop 40mm (20mm on my SRi)

Has anyone got any side pics of an Sri with 17"s lowered 40mm as i'm now thinkin i should have gone for a 60/40 drop.

I've just been checking aournd and the front end may sit a little high still so i just need to see before i get the work done.

    Thanks

If you go lower than 40mm, you'll need to swap the shocks too.

My back end sits lower than the front (both -40mm) too.

the front wont sit higher... it just looks higher as the Astra G's front arches are bigger than the rears, have a look at the profile of your car & you'll see it. I lowered mine 40mm, but 60/40 would have looked a little better.

Hi Guys, I put 40mm PI springs and shocks on my SRi. Handles much better for not a big outlay and still rides the bumps well. I thought the rear looked lower than the front and was worried my headlights would be pointing at the sky but I think it is just the way the arches are cut as Rosco83 says. I took some pics last weekend so I will post them if I get a chance. Oh, it is on standard 16s by the way.

Here are some pics of 40mm all round PI springs and dampers. Remember it is on standard 16" wheels!
