    How To wishlist

We've already good a good set of 'How To's' (see next thread down) for undertaking many popular mods and sorting out common faults/problems/maintenance issues with our cars, but time and time again still the same questions get asked.

So to help your fellow members, and put someting back into the community, we need some more doing - this is where YOU can help.

If you're doing work to you car, which might benefit other members, all you need to do is take some decent photo's as you go along, do a brief step by step write up and then give me a PM and I'll take over from there. I'll write it up in the same format as the others, PDF it and sort out the hosting.

    What could be simpler??

Glaringly obvious How To's that we could do with are...

    Upgrading to 308mm front discs
    Changing front/rear brake pads/shoes
    Cleaning an EGR valve
    Removing front seats
    Fitting heated seats
    Removing a standard head unit

    The list is endless.

It would help if you can list any others that may spring to mind in this thread, but please keep it to a list, and not a general discussion.

If you see an item on the list that you are planning to do, get the camera out.

Let's get helping each other and make Astra-sport even better than it is already

May be obvious too.. but a quick pre MOT/Service check could be one. Theres bound to be a few things people dont check?

edit: as you said dont make this a discussion ill edit this, but i agree that guide is clearer, and is written too, but doesnt show as much as the other guide.

i can do one for removing the door car from a five door (front and rear) i know that there is a how to in words but no pic so if you wanted one with pics i caould take a few as i do it as i will be removing the door cards soon.

also i can do one for chagning the pollen filter as this is a very simple job but can be a bit of an arse to explain which pannel behind the glove to remove.

let me know via PM or this thread if you require ever of these doing.

Splodge - Cheers for the piccs

Scott - THe HID is much needed (the front bumper one exists BTW)

Raz - I've found the how to, but the piccies are dead - have you still got them??

Chris - Those would be great if you could.

PM me if when you do them chaps, so the thread stays tidy.

A "how to" for fitting the Irmscher pedals would be good.

Also I will have one for fitting the Irmscher door sill cover ( or any sill cover ) later this week... I know its an easy one but might help someone!
