    drum brake and shoes

    both my drums have been letting water in which vaux say has contaminated my shoes and i need new ones is this bull sh*t because pads spend there days in these conditions and arn't they made from the same stuff?

    i would agree with you mate... bulls*it! What you need to do is look at why there letting water in ad sort that out.

    they damaged one of my wheels i'll come in with you next saturday and get the parts i need.

    i know i need new drums but the shoes haven't been on long. they were put on by a cowboy but im sure if i replace the drums and wheel cylinders and tighten my handbrake cable i can get them working again

    Shoes can get damp most of the time due to condensation forming inside the drum so your shoes will be fine! What year is your car? if its a mk4 you shoudnt need new drums yet.
