    Large puddle-Exhaust emission warning light

I have a 52 reg astra 1600-16v. I went through a large puddle on lh side of car. 20 mins later the car was missing with less power. Then the exhaust emission warning light came on and stays on. Is the puddle the cause of this and how can i rectify. Thanks John

Yes, no problems the car is in safe mode thats all. The ecu using default values instead of the sensors sending readings. If after a few days it doesn't go out, you will have to have a Tech 2 test.

excuse my ignorance- but- is the exhaust emission warning light(loos like pic of engine) the same as the engine management light. This car still sounding like 3 cylinders with light perm on.
