    HID Conversion - which one

    OK......going to go ahead with this as my lights are good but I want better....

    which kit........6000k, 8000k, 10000k, 12000k



    I'm aliking the 10000k one - Scott has the 12000k in his and they are very purplybrightblue

    What do you think?

    10000k ones hear as well but the 12000k ones are nice as well

    Personally i'd prefer the Diamond White ones for mine! Out of interest, how much are these HID kits? the vision with standard bulbs alone in the angel eyes are just cack!

    The higher up the scale you go past 6000k the less useable light you get. You do get more colour but is this why your buying them? if the quality of the light and not the colour is your priority then stick with 6000k or at a max 8000k. Normal fitment bulbs are only 4300k and they are dazzling to look at.

    Try to get a kit which has the ballast and starter box combined and not seperate. Also metal and not plastic ballast boxes.

    As Ken says the futher away you go from 6000k the more you compromise on the light output. Although my 12's are still very bright as you know!

    I think that 8000k would be a good compromise between useable light output and looking cool.
