    e-bay realy pisses me off

i sold an iteam for £9.99 and they took £1.07 for the pleasure

then they paypal (also owned by e-bay) will take money to recive the payment for it

so i will be lucky to see £8 for the iteam

i know it aint much but they buggers are raking it in and it makes me mad that they shaft you from every angle

almost as good as the cash machine thing

Banks sell thier ATM points to these cowboys who charge YOU £1.50 to take out YOUR money

    sory folks rant over

Apparently there was a program on ebay and its profits etc, and it literally runs into billions, simply because they have hardly any costs.

Yup, ive put over £5k worth through PayPal from sales - I dread to think what I have paid them - one month I owed eBay £350 for final value fees alone, so that doesnt count listing fees and paypal charges.

Final value fees are the one that gets everyone as its pretty much hidden. You might pay 20p to list something but they take about 4% of the final price too.

Hence, I've given up on it - I only really buy now too.

Thats why many have rather high postage costs - to even out the final deal.
why do today what you can...... I'll finish this later

I just start my auctions at a higher price to cover all the costs.
I don't think I'll be selling anymore cars on e-bay though because of that final listing price. Even though you know its there it still comes as a shock !

    they take it back

    -refund

and now looking for money back again!!!!....so my c/card co are saying no, now why they want it back is:

"sometimes we have to allow for buisness transactions and money has to be taken"something to that effect, im like no way! and my card company are saying no as well, what annoyed me was the fact they THINK they can take money when ever they want so now i cant use ebay ....i wont give em any money, y should i ? my statements prove im in the right.....knobheads
