Did you buy those clocks? where from? how much?

I seem to be getting the impression from people on this site that this can be done with LED's and a few hours.... but my dials glow yellow/white (depending how bright you have the dial) if I swap the bulbs for LEDs it will just glow Blue/white.

I have put a soldering iron on my chrimbo list - so will be setting off along the road of swapping all yellow bulbs for blue/white LED's in the New Year.

Would love to see pics of someone's interior, that has done all their bulbs already?!?

Windrew is fortunate, it seems the earlier Astras didn't have filter installed on the clocks and MFDs so they can shine quite a nice blue if you fit some high powered blue LEDs in. However from around 2000 on Vx changed the internal design and the results of fitting blue LEDs are much different. I can barely read my MFD in daylight, ok at night though, my clocks are next to useless and my mileage display was unreadable so I was forced to refit the white bulb. Don't expect miracles just because someone else has got good results.

I'm doing a mod on the MFD and another on the clocks, MFD will have 8 LEDs in it and the clocks up to 20, I'll post an How-To on converting them when I've finished the project and I'm happy with the result.
