    Removed Pre-Cat

    Heys guys, would i still pass my M.O.T if i removed the precat in my 2.2 astra coupe? also will this cause any damge to the car, as some guys have told me messin n removed casts can screw up the engine?? and is there any tutorials on this?

    Removing the precat ( as done by Ffoeg ) will not fail an MOT. The precat is only there to regulate emissions when the main cat has not reached full working temp. As the check in the MOT is done at "normal running temp" the main cat will be doing the work and your precat just acting like a blockage...

    Search the "How To's" for a guide Ffoeg made for the 2.2 ( warning!! involves a drill and time )...

    Remove it and you'll be fine - all as said above
