    What car to get...?

Ok me mom and dad are after a new car. At the mo they have an Alfa Romeo 147 selespeed, is on an 02 plate and has all the bells and whistles inc leather, digital climate control blah blah but they are now after something else.

Dad has been looking at a nearly new Scooby but my dearest mother thinks he will kill himself and says the inside is nasty and plastic, what car is fast and nice inside? I'm at a bit of a loss here so any help would be appreciated. Budget is about 12 - 13k

    Cheers

Vectra C 3.2 V6? Astra H SRi? Depends what they want though. Get some more feedback from them...size, style, engine size...etc etc

Doesn't have to be massive as i've got my own car and my sister is due for her test soon also.

If it's any help the Alfa Romeo was a 3dr model and i THINK was about 150bhp but can't remember so anything similar or could be bigger as the old man was looking at a scooby

Scoobs also tend to eat themselves if you give them a bit of wellie, the engine takes a dump and the transmission is more chocolate-like than the old 4x4 Cavaliers.

How about a Jag X-type with the 2.5 V6. Now that's a well put together motor, and the engine is sweet. Plus they're 4x4.
