    Cambelt warrenty & funny noise

Can someone tell me how long the cambelt warrenty is for. I got vauxhall to do it about 4 months ago and its just started to make a noise.

Its coming from the left hand side, where the pulleys are. Not sure if its the alternator or coming from inside the cover. The noise makes my car sound like a tdi

Only does it when the car heats up. When cold it doesnt do it. Ive done a search but there hasnt been any follow ups.

    Any ideas???

My car does the same thing mate, makes tdi noise when heated up and from cambelt area, think it might be the tentioners need adjusted? I would go back up to them and demand that they re-do it!

Right heres the update. The noise isnt down to the cambelt kit i got fitted.

Its the waterpump. Booked in tomorrow for new waterpump, labour and fluids.

    There goes £170+VAT

I strongly suggest anyone who gets the cambelt done on the 40,000 mile service get this done too as too save alot of hassle a few months down the line.
