    GSI exhaust

right then GSi owners, i fancy getting a new exhaust for my GSi as the standard one in my opinion is quite feeble. I have seen scorpion and think that it looks quite nice but i haven't heard it. However i'm not really fussed which i get so long as it looks nice, fits in the origonal place and is not too loud.

Suggestions please guys, tell me about your experiences, and what you recommend.

    Cheers

Do a bit of a search mate, no doubt it has been covered loads of times, but IMO:-

Assuming you are talking about the Mk4 turbo, the best you buy is the milltek. Lots of people on this forum, and on another turbo related forum love em.

Nice and loud when you stamp on it, nice and quiet when cruising on the motorway. Perfect

iya m8, i've bin pondering 4 ages on which exhaust to get and milltek seems to be the best bet! Mine is bein fitted on thursday (cant wait ) not too loud but when u give it pasty (i hope) it will sound mean ggrrr!

most of the people on here will tell u milltek or bastruck (not sure of spelling) but from what ive gathered, bastruck are very loud!!

Ive bought my milltek from demon tweeks for £295 its a cat back system.

    Not sure bout scorpion tho

If i could of waited longer i would of tried to go to a meet to listen to what different systems sound like

Bastuck aren't loud at all mate. I have one my Gsi and fair enough when you're giving it some you get a nice roar but nothing ott like some baked bean cans you get on paxo's etc.

Very well made and a perfect fit too

I have a Janspeed on my GSI, looks well and fits perfect, sits in the cut out perfect. Sounds like normal then when you boot it gives off nice rumble. Courtenay sold it as there own, but has Janspeed on both boxes. Seeing as the sell Milltek now they may have surplus stock? cud ring and ask?

Blue Flame systems seem to pop up on ebay quite often, reckon you'll get a cat back for about £200.

Not seen one that fits the bumper cut out perfectly yet tho

Everyone goes on about Milltek so thats probably a safe bet
