    What type of MFD have i got..

    .. ii got a kenwood KDC-M6024G yesturday for a good price and have been looking looking getting an apadtor for both the OE steering wheel controls and the the MFD.

    i found this Adaptor

    which is compatible the HU and the car (mk4 astra) but ti says it is only compatible with vauxhall TID display and not the CID or GID??

    which display have i got. (btw i have got a trip computer display)??

    also is this a good price?

    The above Vauxhall adaptors will link the Vauxhall TID (rectangular) type dashboard display when used with a radio model listed below.

    The Vauxhall 'CID' (square mono-colour) or 'GID' (square multi-colour) type displays are not compatible with the above Vauxhall adaptors

    i would say just buy it as your car has the TID one unless you have satnav

    yep it will still work mate
    as the trip computer one is the same kind of screen
    satnav is diff thats all
