Question Coupe Wiring for Wiper Gen.

Anyone know if the coupe has the wiring in place for a rear washer jet and rear wiper? Could I fit a stalk with rear wash wipe and take the signal from elsewhere on the car?

Just incase this sounds like a silly request, I plan to hook in water injection and intercooler spray to the stalk. i.e. push stalk forward to turn on WI. Push it right forward to spray the IC.

    Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Errrm, I doubt it mate, because the rear window dos'nt seem to collect dirt or water, because of the boot. I suppose it could be done, but it may spoil those sleek lines.

The only washer jets I know of that are available, are for the front lights. Ive seen them on a few foreign coupes, but not many over here, maybe its an extra. Anyway you could probabley get the compnents from the front light washers if you can get hold of some

the wire's will be there as they use the same loom for 90% of the astra g range
like andyR has a 3 door car and he has the loom for a droptop roof in the car
so i would say its there mike

Coupe turbo jon......read the first post again.

He doesn't want to fit a rear bidet (wash/wipe) but link it to the water injection and intercooler spray.

As dannysport18 says the wiring will very likely be there, it's just finding it......

Wiring may be in the harness behind the dash but I know for a fact it isn't in the loom running to the back which is a right pain in the @rse as I use the feed when fitting alarms and have to find another
