I think you need to modify the seat rails. Calibra seats are horrible anyway. They don't have the recaro style seat backs of the Astras, Cavaliers, Corsas etc.

Just think they are a poor design and look like they should be in a 1960's pimpin cadillac.

yea I know what you mean, just I need a new passenger seat and cant find any in a scrappers and vauxhall want £1200 for a new one . found a full set of omega and calibra leathers on mig for around the £100 mark. I like the seats what are in it now but it when somebody leans on it it bends to one side and looks pretty unsafe so wanna get it sorted asap lol.

You can get seats fixed. Take them to a retrimmers, they should be able to fix your current seats.

Sounds like you just have a support/latch that's given way.

I thought about getting em fixed, but as far as im aware theres not a retrimmers in the blackpool area. Plus the cost of it being fixed would probibly buy the full set of leathers from a 1960's pimpin cadillac How much should I be expecting to pay for it being fixed?

Dunno, depends what's broken. I'm sure there is a re-trimmers somewhere near.

Wouldn't imagine it would cost more than £50 if it's just a bracket that's gone. All they'd have to do is slip the seat fabric up and weld what's broken.

god no. Please dont put Cally leathers in a mk4.

Ring eddie as vpsc and he will almost certainly have a suitable seat there for you.
