    remote ignition start on standard G...?

    does anybody know if this is possible and how its possible?

    (just read divmas post but i think he has an aftermarket alarm)

    Clifford G4 Avant Gard alarms has the remote start options, amongs other gimmicks, like heaters, leccy windows etc..


    Over £2k in price though I think

    You can have remote engine start in combination with any clifford alarm system. prices for the alams start at £199 and then £199 extra for the engine start. prices include fitting.
    There are deals to be had of around £500(fitted) for a cat 1 alarm with remote engine start(although you dont tell your insurers about the remote start as this will void the cat 1 of the alarm)

    Not really good advice !
    ...always tell them everything, because if you dont and they find out you'll get nothing, and be blacklisted.
    Then you'll find it hard to get any decent price for insurance whatsoever....

    Remotre start is possible but you have to down grade your cars security which is cat 2 at least

    Not something recomended IMO

    i agree Andy-i was considering on the coupe but my major concern was what if it goes wrong?

    Am doing full closure and remote boot lock but am put off about engine start as i want a Cat 1 Clifford

    To me full closure is locking the doors and closing any open windows which is simple on the astra G as it has built in total closure and you only need to extend the locking time as most alarms have this feature built in
