Question Making my Coupe Turbo ready for the track

I'm interested in doing track days in my Coupe Turbo. I have CS3 and Eibach Pro kit springs.

I want to make the car tuned for track use, but keep it comfortable for road use. I am considering a fully adjustable coilover kit, but I'm not sure which ones to look at. Names and links would be good.

If I go ahead with this, I will buy some 16" Compomotive TH2 (7x16") or similar with 205-50-16 Yokohama A539s.

Are there any uprated anti-roll bars available for the coupe?

I'm also considering a Quiafe diff.

Would CS4 stand up to the abuse track use would throw at it?

    Many thanks for any help.

Mike Whiteline do both an uprated front anti roll bar of a thicker section and also a adjustable rear anti roll bar. I'd give serious thought to upgrading the brakes, the OE brakes won't stand up to the punishment IMO. I think they'll fade badly. I'm in the process of fitting a Brembo 4 pot conversion for the Astra Mk4, mines got 325mm brakes but can also be bought with 335mm. It's not complete yet but should be soon. You'll need 17" though I think to fit them under.

Roll bars at https://www.whiteline.com.au/store/ Brembos I got from Godspeed but I'll wait until they perfect the kit before recommending them.

Deffo want to use 16" wheels, so brake size upgrades are out. I will upgrade the discs, pads and hoses and see how it goes from there.

I'll check out the whiteline stuff now...

Mike will your existing 308mm discs fit under the 16 wheels?

Oh and just read that the Godspeed 308mm Brembo conversion will fit behind 16" wheels. May want to think about that.

Should do - the spare is a 16s, plus the Compomotive TH2s are designed for maximum brake clearance.

I think this has been commented on before Mike, the 16" spare that some get is a steel wheel and thus has a thinner section than an alloy wheel. So they fit, a 16" alloy usually doesn't. However I'm sure you can test check your wheel of choice just to make sure. Good luck.

My spare is an alloy. Is that unusual? I'll ensure the wheels fit before ordering though.

My spare is also an alloy mike.

As you know cav turbo whhels (16") also fit over the 308's (The set up on Tom's cav).

Some wheels 16's fit over 308's and some dont.
