    Question Driving abroad...

    Hi,
I am considering taking my astra coupe over to the netherlands for a few days, as they drive on the opposite side to us i know the headlights will need adjusting, Are the headlights on the astra ( standard halogen bulbs are fitted ) able to be altered easily for driving in europe or is a case of buying a set of beam benders? If i buy a set of beam benders how do they fit postion wise as there are no markings on the clear lenses ? Apart from the lights and first aid kit, and warning triangle are there any other mandatory requirements i need to be aware of??

I will be contacting my insurance company regarding a green card for the insurance , and i have AA cover should the worst happen ( hopefully not needed )

    cheers ...les

easiest thing to do is go to a vx dealer and you can buy a set of headlight protectors with the beam benders attached. you need a spare bulb kit

oh and don't forget the gb stickers unless you have gb plates on.

life's to fast to go slow. so get the turbo.

You may also need a warning triangle IIRC
