    Just bought some 18's

but my car came standard with the vaux 16s.

    My qestion:

Will this - I assume it will - through my speedo / distance clock out of sink due to the fact i am covering more ground per wheel rotation?

    If it does

    1) Do i need to have it re-set? Will it lead to a failed MOT

    2) How much will having it re-sinked cost?

yeah what sten said is correct, me and my college lecturer worked out the from my standard 14s to my 17s there was a difference of something like 3 or 4 MPH at 150+ its not noticable at all and theres no way your MOT will fail due to that.

Yea I was guna wait, but ive decided I dont want to invest too much into this car. Im only planing on keeping it for a year, 2 max. So I'm only going to buy things which i can sell or transfer to another car.

    Ie wheels, centre console.
