If the car runs fine now, and the engine light is still on I don't think it would be a problem?

One of the little air hoses came off my airbox on my 1.6, and the lights went crazy. I just fixed the hose back on and kept driving. The light went out again.

Simple incompetance - name and shame imo !!!

The light tends to reset if it has xx amount of trouble free mileage. Fingers crossed they've not left anything else undone !!

Are you using the std black boost pipe? cut to add the large T piece in? as this can be quite slippery as you always end up with a bit of oil in there. It can therefore be difficult to get a good seal sometimes.

The light does go out after a while and as LN says the system 'resets' iteslf after a given mileage.
