    Angry Rev Dials

    Hi all,

Got the car back after caving kent cams, new down pipe, new manifold, and gear box, and it was wonderful, drives like a dream and so much quicker. Then got some aliminium trims for the Speedo and so, and nocked rev counter and sent it out for sync now i have to fork out for a new Dial kit that was £215.00 was not a happy bunny trust me.

X18 or Z18 engine. Interested in how you overcame the 2 Cat problem on the Z18 if it is that.

    sent it out of sync????
What? You simply "turn" the needle and middle bit on the shaft till it goes back to the right position, that's all you have to do

when you start the car up the neddle goes on an epeletic fit and goes below the idle area (800 - 1000 RMP) and i have took the clocks out to see if it would reset the problem and that didn't work so, went to a scrappy and looked for some dials but was non for the 16V with TC Indicator, so went to vaux and bought new ones. get it back today about 3.30 - 4.00

It's all I did UBugger, I had mine completely to bits, the needles were pointing everywhere. Just put them on the Zero mark and reinserted them. Work perfectly.

What would this do if you fitted them into a 1.8 SRi....

Would they still read the same as a normal but if you go over 140mph show how quick your going?
