    308mm's on 16's Do Fit

    i was reading a post on hear about what size of wheel is needed for the 308mm disc to fit under so i found this in the garage an fitted to the front of the car

    Will standard sport/sxi/sri etc calipers fit with the larger discs.

    yes they will if they are 5 stud cars as they run diff calipers to 4 stud cars
    my car is 4 stud but with Gsi spec brakes

    so if i got 308 discs and caliper brakets i could fit them to my car with the standard 16's?

    why has everyone always said u need 17's for them to fit?

    dont know they have not had a go i found a 16's in the garage an wanted to see if it would fit an it did i will stick this set of wheels on for some fun over winter

    disc's
    cailpers carriers
    pads
    from a turbo spec car

    shitten hell dan they are a rather tight fit, could cause problems getting your hands in to clean the wheels though
