    manifold painting/chroam/stainles steel effect

    well how do i get my manifold to looks like its stainles steel as its black at the moment and the rest is SS T304 so how do i get it all to match

    Well it sounds like mild steel then it they have to paint it. If it was stainless - why paint it??

    Assuming it is MS - there's not much you can do really - It's MS, so it will corrode over time. You could consider getting it chromed, but it will cost (probably more than getting a SS one in the first place).

    And I've never found VHT paint that effective - my old 4 branch janspeed was sprayed red with VHT paint - and it went white within a few days.

    humm rite ill see what i can do not getting it chromed as i dnt see the point ill sort something out to make it shiney even if i have it sand blasted

    (Still assuming it's Mild steel)

    Sand blasting will get the paint off - but will leave the steel exposed to the air. Unless you can find a shiney heat resistant finish for it - it's gonna start rusting straight away.
